The Arc of San Diego, a private, not-for-profit Corporation, is one of the region's largest human-service agencies. Founded in 1951 by a determined group of people who felt they had to "do something" for children with mental retardation, Arc blends a long history of service with a national reputation for success. Today, they are guided by the same sense of purpose and dedication that inspired those parents over fifty years ago.

Business Challenge
Spam was impacting their email infrastructure to such an extent that it was undermining normal business operations. A solution was needed, but one that would require minimal IT supervision, and had to accommodate the tight budgetary constraints of a non-profit organization.

The MailEnforcer Solution
The Arc of San Diego in evaluating a hosted solution wanted a solution that allowed for close interaction between a providers support staff and Arc's tech staff. They were concerned that a hosted solution would offer a lower level of suport vs. a software solution. After an onsite visit to meet with the IT staff, and assess Arc's specific requirements, the solution was implemented.

Results
Arc has been very pleased with MailEnforcer's effectiveness, plus tech support has been direct and responsive to all questions.
